Good Morning: - I'm still on my quest to find the video of "Morning Dew" from Augusta, 1984 -- still no luck but I
foumd some other items that you may or may not appreciate. Be forewarned - some of these are here for their "historical value" or for the unique combination of musicians appearing together - good to see once or twice.(Definitely check out Lou Reed with John Cale.) These are arranged by earliest to most recent with the Grateful Dead first. I hope you find some value somewhere -- AshesRising

Thanks for the vids! The China>Rider is from 4/17/72- the first set was broadcast on German TV. Pretty cool to see any tiny glimpse of that tour.

cream-puff-war: gotta love Big Brother - 1 friggin' hour and they wiped you out??

Any chance that was your "Morning Dew" from The Philadelphia Spectrum (1986)? I just created a MySpace account so I can grab as much as possible and download as fast possible, however I didn't realize that MySpace is being run on a mainframe out Digital Computers in Mass..... it's brutal - is it always like this?

I am going to check out your materials now -- I suggest you download and burn as quick as possible 'cuz it sounds like your being "trailed by twenty hounds." -- Ashes (jerri1031-dp3ATyahooDOTcom)

Tommmytrippledip: You're welcome. As you will see at those sites there are additional ones as well.

Hey, do you mind if I ask where you came up with the name? -I'm intrigued by how many people create names that are tied directly to the band and the world around it while remaining cryptic at the same time ("..got two good eyes but we still don't see..") Thanks for responding, - AshesRising

Hey--and I thought it was our little secret (Viola)...seriously, though, thanks for all the rest of these, but I just cannot get over what a find the first one is as it just represents the boys as I love them. The way Jerry holds his guitar in the early days--really love him then (okay, later too).

Thanks Ashes.

Hey, many thanks for trying to unearth that Augusta video, I am touched by your efforts (just not in a "...stick your tongue straight down the back of his trousers" kind of way, as Rick would say)
These ones you've listed here are worthy gems nonetheless.

SDH: ...it's a pleasant, crisp sunny Sunday morning in Boston and after a night of no sleep my perspective of the world is a bit different than the folks heading off to church -- that being said:

WTF is that quote?? You scared me back down the mountain that I struggled so hard to cliimb overnight!!! And who is "Rick"?? Is it an obvious reference to something that I should recognize, or am I still in the land of Xandu and this really isn't happening? Either way, the shock factor is priceless -- nice job! - Ashes

Sorry to have disturbed you without proper explanation. The quote is from The Young Ones (British sitcom of years ago that got some time being played here on MTV I believe). By all means, enjoy the morning without any furthur fear of trouser issues.

What a way to start the day! I've always wanted to get videos of the early years, and after watching Viola, I can't wait to see the other stuff. Simply amazing. Santa came to my computer a little early this year. Thanks so much!

Thanks Ashes for these links. That Led Zep-Young Levee is priceless. And whatever you want to call Led Zep's music, it began and ended with them.

Well, you certainly can't argue with that -- as far as pop/rock goes, that's for sure. Now, jazz & swing is a whole other creature.

True. Nor do I recall the passage saying anything to the effect of "In the beginning there was Elvis. And God said, 'Let there be darkness. Okay, now let's have some light.'"

Ashes...very nice! The China Rider must be from early 72 with both Pig and Keith in the mix. This is one of the better synchronized vids that I've seen posted on the web. I always enjoy seeing Jerry in a more vital and vibrant state than later on.

Rider from the same show...interesting, Jerry doesn't take any of the usual lines. Need to find this show...any help?

Thanks for some nice Sunday morning church stuff.
